Why The Recovery Collective

For more than a decade, the team behind Active Recovery Network has worked alongside individuals and families navigating complex mental health and substance use challenges. Much of that work has taken place where recovery actually has to succeed – in homes, workplaces, schools, relationships, and communities.

Over the years, we repeatedly saw the same gap. Someone could make meaningful progress in treatment and still struggle when it came time to translate that progress into everyday life. Having a therapist, psychiatrist, or outpatient team doesn’t necessarily mean someone is ready to successfully live on their own.

The Recovery Collective was created to help fill that gap.

We provide adult men with a stable, supportive home where they can build routines, relationships, confidence, life skills, and greater independence while remaining connected to appropriate clinical care in the community.

A Different Kind of Recovery Environment

We aren’t trying to recreate a treatment center inside a house.
The home is where residents practice living. That can mean getting up on time, taking responsibility for medications, cooking, exercising, keeping appointments, finding work or returning to school, managing money, building friendships, participating in recovery, and learning how to create a meaningful weekly life.

Coaching and case management help residents turn goals into action, while therapy, psychiatry, and other licensed clinical care are provided offsite.
