Life at The Recovery Collective

There is no single prescribed schedule for every resident. Instead, each resident works with our team to build an individualized weekly structure designed around his goals, responsibilities, recovery, and increasing independence. A typical week may include work or school, volunteering, exercise, cooking and meal planning, household responsibilities, individual coaching, case management, recovery meetings, recreation, social activities, and appointments with offsite therapists, psychiatrists, or other providers.
Residents have structure and accountability, but also increasing opportunities to make choices, manage responsibilities, and build the kind of life they will eventually be able to sustain independently.

Designed for Longer-Term Recovery

Meaningful independence takes time. We generally ask residents and families to make an initial commitment of at least 3–6 months, and many residents may benefit from living at The Recovery Collective for a year or longer.
